Integrity Motivational Quote:
Act with Integrity to Receive the Benefits
Merriam-Webster defines integrity as a firm adherence to a code of moral values, or the quality or state of being complete or undivided.
When you follow your own moral compass and do what you think is right, you achieve a sense of completeness. If you disobey your own value system, you become divided, unbalanced and uneasy.
If asked if we wanted to feel complete and whole, very few of us would say no (and if we did, um, Houston, we’ve got a problem). Yet when confronted with a choice our gut tells us is wrong, but our mind rationalizes into a “That’s really not so bad, in fact it’s OK because of such and such…” we can fold more easily than we might think.
The answer is repetition of good behavior. Practicing integrity on a daily basis may take courage, but it’s ultimately satisfying, and over time will be our first choice.
